Hi, I’m Danielle - the hands (and heart) behind Apartment Story Goods.
I’m based out of Workshop Studios in Calgary, hand making small-batch functional pottery for soft rebels and little weirdos.
Each piece is designed to feel bold, playful, and personal: black and white on the outside, bright and colourful on the inside.
The pieces I create are simple, fun, and a little weird and unexpected.

Where do you ship?

I offer flat rate shipping anywhere in Canada and the US!
Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! Pickup is available in Calgary from Workshop Studios in Inglewood.
For friends and family - there’s also an option at checkout where I’ll bring you your order the next time I see you!
Are your pieces food safe?

Yes! All Apartment Story Goods ceramics are made with food-safe, lead-free glazes.
My glazes are carefully formulated and fired to the proper temperatures so they fully mature and bond with the clay body. This process ensures the surface is durable, non-toxic, and safe for everyday use with food and drinks.
Are your pieces oven and dishwasher
safe?

My ceramics are dishwasher safe and oven safe with some considerations!
While I make and test my pieces so they can withstand everyday use, ceramics are sensitive to sudden temperature changes and can crack or break if exposed to these conditions. To prevent thermal shock, please follow these guidelines:
- Place your piece in the oven as it preheats so it can come up to temperature gradually
- Never move a piece directly from the freezer or fridge into a hot oven (or from hot to cold)
- Do not use any ceramic pieces on a stovetop, open flame, or under a broiler
- Do not put any ceramic pieces in an oven that is hotter than 425F
Because each piece is handmade, I recommend hand washing when possible to help extend the life of your piece.
